Mix, the very renowned Hindi music channel with the collaboration of Sony
Pictures Networks aim is to
spread the awareness about the ‘The Dhun Project’ to as many people out as
possible by initiating the #DhunProjectChallenge on various social media
platforms.
One-of-its-kind initiative- 'The Dhun Project'
The
main purpose of The Dhun Project is to give back to the country’s musical
ancestry by raising funds to empower musicians & educate across levels. It aims
to recognise forgotten musicians of the industry and help them live with
dignity.
Mr. Roshan Ali – a veteran Dholak player is The
Dhun Project Ambassador for this year, wherein, Sony MIX pledges to support him

The business head of Sony MIX took the message
of ‘The Dhun Project’ to as many people as possible by initiating the
#DhunProjectChallenge where users had to hum a tune and upload their video by
nominating atleast 5 friends on various platforms to spread the word.
Many
known celebrities like Akriti Kakkar, Sunidhi Chauhan, Aparshakti took up the
challenge along with many others users.
The
Dhun Project had two hashtags trending on Twitter- #GiveBackToMusic and Dhun
Project Challenge where supporters showed their support
