This is the story that questioned my purpose to live. I was all shaken by the ugly truth. I just felt hopeless about it. And has the curosity and guts to change it and to make some difference. But how ! That troubled and pissed me off. I was doing campaigning on street children. And before that the research shocked me. Abuse, child labour , gender discrimination, health , homelessness and poverty are all the problems of street children. Abuse- Abuse leaves children emotionally scattered. Research says that many children even refuse to speak for months because of the trauma faced by them. Child labour-In jaipur, a common job is rag picking .children under 6 yrs old are found doing such jobs. Gender discrimination-The problem is worse in conservative rajasthan than anywhere else in india. Many babies are aborted or deliberately neglected simply because they are girls. When I have to talk about the time that brought a big change in my life.. I only remember the incidents and a time that passed but still has a great impact on my life. And has taught me the lesson and has changed me completely. Obesity ! We Indians are well known for it. Junk! was my only weakness during my schooling.Whether it was short break or long, I used to only wat to hog food.Chips, samosa, dhokla, frankies, burgers, pizzas , cakes , cookies were all my favorite. I .I was always hungry. I was too obese for my height. People, friends, relatives all used to make fun of me. People used to stare at me wherever I went. Kids found me weird. I just found people laughing and making jokes on me wherever I went. I never found clothes of my choice in my size. I used to not fit on a bench. But I never really cared. Well I listen to Red FM every time I am in the car, as I love Bauaa by RJ Raunac! While heading to work there was a random call from a guy to RJ Raunac and offering to help with 1 needy person amount of 10 lakhs rupees! This guy was a #MysteryMan for all of us.
